                                                          Olga Adamovich (soprano)

Born in Garaganda, Olga Adamovich studied in Saint Petersburg at a senior high school specializing in musical studies, to continue her education at the "Rimsky-Korsakov” Conservatory, under the guidance of Professor T.Novicenko. At the same time she graduated at the "G.B. Martini” Conservatory of Bologna under the guidance, this time, of Professor Wilma Vernocchi. She then completed a two-year course  at the "A. Peri”  Pareggiato Musical Institute of Reggio Emilia.

She made her debut at the Opera House of Saint Petersburg  as Zemfira  in Aleco by S.Rachmaninov, where she also performed Le nozze di Figaro (The Countess), La Bohème (Mimi’), La Bella Addormentata by S. Pleshak (The Princess) and Carmen (Micaela). At the Sala Filarmonica she performed Iolanta by P. Thaikovskij and Stabat Mater by G.Pergolesi.

In 2002 she attended classes at the Opera Accademy of Osimo and at the local Opera House she performed Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Berta) and  Don Giovanni (Donna Anna).

In 2004 for the centennial celebration of La Vedova allegra she sang, in several opera stages throughout Italy, as Anna Glavari under the baton of A. Fiorini.

Having participated to several national and international contests, in 2004 she won a grant for artistic achievement in order to attend a two-year course at the Belcanto Opera Accademy of Vignola under the guidance of Mirella Freni.

She also attended a chamber music course with the Maestro C. Desideri and few singing masterclasses led by Raina Kabaivanska, Luigi Alva e William Mateuzzi

In 2005 she sang at the Opera House of Bologna in Malombra by M.Bossi and for the Chamber Orchestra of Bologna she performed Stabat Mater by G.Pergolesi under the baton of G.Giovannini.

Between 2006 and 2009 she sang as Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana in Voghera, Lecco, Gardone Riviera, San Benedetto Po and Ostiglia. In the latter she also performed, with the Orchestra of Mantova, Carmina Burana by C. Orff.

Her career includes also the role of Suor Angelica at the Teatro Comunale of Imperia and  Cio Cio San in Madame Butterfly, in Stresa, organized by the D&G fashion house.

In 2007 she was Madame Lardoux at the world premiere of the Maschera di Punkitititi  by M.Taralli and e Q. Conti, under the baton of V. Parisi at the Rome Opera House and later she sang in Tosca at the National Theatre of the Rome Opera House and for the Ente Musicale Bolognese.

She made a collaboration with the Chamber choir of Bologna recording, for the record label Ipecac , Athlantis by Eyvind Kang, under the baton of M A. Sisillo at the Teatro Comunale of Modena.

She also recorded the Psalmo N .51 by  J.Bach for the Dutch label Vriesenveen, at the Chapel Hall in Saint Petersburg.

In 2008 she was awarded a silver medal by the city of Rome for her participation to the "Toccata e Fuga” event held by the Rome city council and the Theatre of the Rome Opera House.

Between 2008 and 2009 she was on several concert tour in New York, Tokyo and Sanghai for the Theatre of the Rome Opera House sponsored by the Capital city council.

In 2009 she sang as Micaela in the Carmen by Bizet, under the baton of S. Kiss, for the National Theatre of the Chuvash Republic.

In the same year she participated, at the Teatro Valli of Reggio Emilia, to the gala concert organized by the local city council to celebrate the 150 years of the Unity of Italy. She then was invited to sing as Abigail, Nabucco, in the Trecolori Hall.

In 2010 with the symphony orchestra of Savona she sang in the Stabat Mater by G. Rossini while in 2011 she was one more time Abigail for the Ente Musicale Novarese.
